About the Role:

As a CIMA Trainee Accountant, you will play an active role in supporting monthly accounting and reporting processes for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.

This is a hands-on learning environment where you will gain practical experience in cloud-based accounting systems and develop the technical competencies required to complete your CIMA practical experience requirements.

You will be involved in:

• Processing and maintaining accurate cash book records and ensuring timely month-end reconciliations.
• Managing and reconciling debtor and creditor accounts across multiple client entities.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs.
• Working within cloud accounting platforms and digital tools to process, analyse, and validate financial data.
• Supporting senior team members with client reporting, financial analysis, and ad hoc accounting tasks.

This role is designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world management accounting, giving you exposure to both operational accounting processes and decision-useful financial reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Management Accounting (Honours will be advantageous).
• Preferably studying or intending to study towards a CIMA qualification.
