After completing high school at Hilton College, Sean was enrolled at Stellenbosch University where he graduated with a post graduate honours degree in Management    Accounting (BComHons Man Acc).

Following university he went on to join Freshvest (part of the freshworld Group) in their CIMA Training Program in 2015.

Having worked with Pieter le Roux, Sean joined him in 2017, shortly after he co-founded Wauko.

Over the years Sean has had his hand in most of the Groups current service offerings, particularly within the Treasury Team where he lead the Team and still serves as a Director on WauTreasury.

Sean’s focus is now on FX analysis and policy creation within the Treasury Team. He plays an important role in the onboarding of WauTresury clients, and as a Key Individual on the FSCA license of wauTreasury, he is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial services activities.
